TeraThink is seeking a Financials Project Manager to  oversee two (2) work streams (Financial Reporting and Audit Readiness- CPA or CGFM strongly preferred) within a large Financial & Accounting Team. Responsible for a team of approximately 4 Financial Reporting Staff and 3 Audit Support/Audit Readiness personnel. You will report to the Sr.
Project Manager (on site) for administrative and coordination matters on the overall project and both Project Managers report to the Director of Justice Programs, who is the Program Manager (off site).

What You’ll Do
Ensure the deadlines for all financial reporting deliverables are met and no material weaknesses are found with audits. Collaborate with Sr. PM to collectively cross-manage the team using Agile methodologies (Sprint & Scrum techniques with comprehensive task lists). Proactively manage & schedule multiple deliverables due daily, monthly, quarterly & annually;
track and report progress in accordance with USMS, DOJ, US Treasury and OMB Requirements. Use expertise in GAAP, USSGL, FAR, OMB Circulars & other regs.

Things We Need to See  
A Current Public Trust Access or higher security access with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years highly preferred as this contract supports a Government Agency.

Minimum 10 years' consultant exp and/or related work experience, with 5 years in a Mid-Senior Management role, at least 3 must be in a gov accting setting. Proven leadership capabilities. Exp with GTAS and SF133 reporting and expert with Gov accting principles (OMB Circular A-123, USSGL, FPDS-NG and other Data Act Regulatory Reporting Requirements.
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, oversee & direct Quarter & Year-end closings and financial reporting on-time and with little-to-no material weaknesses (provide examples).
Oversee team in preparation & validation of audit deliverables, ensuring quality control (PBC items, AQCG, Obligation, De-Obligation Analyses, etc.)

Things We Would Like To See

CPA, CGFM or other similar accounting certification Strongly preferred
PMP, Agile, Scrum Master or other Project Management Certification/Designation Highly
Experience w/ implementation & management of business operations, improvements, and/or strategic aspects of projects.
Preparing Statements of Net Cost financial reporting and financial footnotes related Capital assets
